Spent this morning making a couple of cards for upcoming birthdays. Thoroughly enjoyed some crafting time just for me!
As it turns out both cards ended up with butterflies on them, not planned at all!

Chris's birthday card.

Yesterday I finally got around to making Chris's birthday card for tomorrow. It took quite a few attempts as my mind was elsewhere...!

Chris loves music especially playing his concertina, and also walking and being in the countryside, hence my choice of card.

Was really pleased yesterday when the postie brought me these pigment inks! A freebie in a magazine giveaway.  I like things like this!! Lots of embossing in future me thinks...

Iona homework this week was to decorate an egg for Easter. She wanted to make hers 'Jesus walking on water'. She did really well making it, and did even better by winning the prize for her age!
